Do you ever feel that when a teacher, professor, supervisor have someone in their class or department who is a bully-that it's not the target who is protected but the bully is protected?
Why does the one who is bullied have to suffer like this?
Here are some possible explanations:
1.Sometimes bullying occurs away from others-so it can be done secretly.
2.Bullies like to wield power-so the one who is bullied will not tattle.
3.If the one who is bullied tattles-this will make the bully angrier-so better not to tell anyone.
4.The one who is bullied feels shame and may blame themselves for the situation-maybe there is a reason why 'I was' bullied they may say
5.Why tell anyone about the bullying incident-no one will do anything anyway.
We need to stop this manner of thinking and focus on solving problems-and exposing the bully.
