Recently I read a post by Leah Hollis on Ethical Leadership Ends Bullying, posted April 24th, 2019.
The article raises the question of how to stop bullying in the first place? Is it true that ethical leaders attract ethical personnel? The article implies that 'ethical and empathetic people not only model compassionate leadership, but also create and implement policies that curtail workplace abuse.' In this way ethical leaders will use anti-bullying policies to weed out bullies and thereby create a healthy workplace.
We need to promote kindness and caring so that ethical leaders can stop bullying and abuse on the job.
Essentially if an organization strives to have a healthy workplace then we should recruit ethical and empathetic leaders.
