The organizational climate is influenced by a positive or negative impact.
What does it mean to be in a climate that is negative?
1. There is job insecurity.
2. Management exhibits poor skills when dealing with others.
3. Little or no supervision of employees
4. Restructuring or downsizing occurs.
5. Inadequate support or training of its employees.
6. New managers or new supervisors take over and change old procedures without discussing anything with others.
7. Introducing new technology without training.
8. Changes in the upper echelons of the company or environment-new CEO, new President etc., affect job security of others.
If companies were more aware of such factors affecting organizational climate one would be better prepared to deal with these consequences.
