Establish a timeline for the investigation.
What is the mechanism for appealing a decision?
All parties should focus on resolving the situation not on blaming parties.
Be fair and equitable by allowing the bully, target and bystanders to respond.
Ensure confidentiality of all parties.
Make sure that a quick resolution is facilitated.
