Often when one is bullied continuously one can develop symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. This is especially a distress response experiences after a traumatic event like bullying, whose symptoms do not go away immediately.Since bullying is ongoing and sometimes goes undetected, individuals who are bullied can develop post traumatic stress disorder symptoms.
